Indebted

Have you ever felt like you owe someone in an indirect way? Like perhaps that person did not even realize how much of an encouragement he/she has been to you and how much he/she has helped you in bringing who you are right now. It's like, seeing a stranger walking by and he gave you the sweetest greetings on your gloomy day. Most probably that stranger would have forgotten your face by the time he walked past you but you were just so grateful for meeting such a nice person. So, this is a letter. Or a message, I shall say.. To someone whom I feel greatly indebted to until this point in time and I know he is not in the best situation at this point. But although we are so far apart, I want you to know that you are truly remembered. To you... I still remembered vividly the first impression you formed in my head. I hated you. Well, I honestly can't understand why you have so many friends but you were so cold to me in that one class we had in secondary school. I mean, we were ...

5 Musketeers Sissy at her comfortable moment Chinatown CTA track Helloo there! It is finally winter break for us who have worked our heart and soul this semester and therefore, it is official that having fun is a legal thing. No more feeling guilty of enjoying ourselves at home or partying so hard every night cos it's HOLIDAY! weeheee~ So three days ago my friends and I took a trip down to Chicago and stayed there for a night before we took off on Monday. It was the most relaxing day I had in Chicago. There was no pressure as to visit as many places as we could like we used to, because we had all the time in the world. There was no car to bring us to places so we took the train. We headed to Chinatown for lunch and it took us a mere hour to get there when usually it takes at most 30 minutes by car. But it was a hell lot of fun! It was all worth it. The night was well spent in the hotel with deep dish pizza and poker games. My most beloved people were aro...

The Hot Guy

Hellow! It feels great to be back here again, getting my fingers on the keys again. Despite knowing that my writing is somewhat flawed (alright, it is majorly flawed), writing just brings natural joy to my life. So, here I am again, back with my random thoughts:) So, these few days have been totally hectic. Life is about studying, fast food and minimum amount of sleep. 3 exams in 24 hours was not fun at all. My head felt so light as if I am high on alcohol, I could never be clumsier during this period. Today marked the last major exam, which by the way, I studied just a few hours before the exam itself since I had another core class exam in the morning. BAM! I told myself that after all these craziness, I will: sleep sleep sleep..and.. SLEEP But the end is always different than what was planned. Despite not having anymore core exam, I am still in school right now. I guess it's the thing about having someone you truly care about. I just couldn't bear leaving Hery in ...

Simple Annoyance

Holla! It's me again reporting from where I am right now; a comfortable mini sofa with people (in all kind of extreme attires) buzzing around and smell of food lingering me. Yepp, it's the other side of campus. The business side. I was looking for a place that is quiet and comfortable for me to just sit at one corner and get my fingers dancing on my keyboard to complete my never-ending project reports. So here I end up, thinking that this would be the best place since it's near to the garage too. But BAAAAM! I was SO wrong. SO VERY WRONG. Disclaimer: I get agitated pretty easily and if you have the habit of those I listed here, don't be offended. But really, it's just annoying to me like how peanuts get me irked.  So, the usual commons was more crowded than the last time I was here. In fact, it is waaaaay more crowded. People are chatting, discussing, fixated on their computer screens etc etc. I looked around and the only seat I could get was the corner seat...

Little Miss Angsty

People with laptops and serious faces are surrounding me right now in the Mechanical Engineering building. Hah, I am not alone! , I thought to myself. But even so, the deep anger I have towards my life right now does not just magically subside. Look at that Superman up there? My sister named him Ang. It stands for Angry and Angsty. His face tells it all, just like how I am feeling right about now. It's just that period of life repeating itself, actually. The time when you just stopped whatever you are doing, sighed, and wanted to run away from all what life has thrown right smack onto your face. How you wish life is an object that you can scream at, throw the same shit as what it has given you. But alas, it will never happen.  "The grass is always greener on the other side." That is what they always say. The wise will go on about how everyone has their own downside and blah blah blahhhh... But really? I mean, how down can a life of that friend of mine who has t...

Hello reader! Happy Wednesday to all of you. Well, my Wednesday has not been a good one but let's see, it'll get better!   Today's post will be dedicated to a friend of mine! Today, the first thing I did when I opened my eyes were to check all my social network accounts as if I was not late enough to go to school. Yeah, you name it, my phone has it. From Facebook to Twitter to Instagram or even G+. So anyway, what there was one thing that made me smile today: Nah, that was not me who got the 1st prize in blog writing competition. It was my friend, Kent, whom last I remembered was majored in Math instead of Creative Writing. I have always been a fan since he started his blog. There was no fancy phrases nor was there any rainbow-glitter-glossy kind of blog skin. It was a simple and meaningful blog. It is the kind of blog that you just want to keep reading because it was so honest and easy to relate to. I never miss a single post until now and I do plan ...

A Cup of Coffee

Image
It is finally winter. The chill from winter wind is unbearable, hands are getting frozen and skin got too dry. Winter. What do you think of when Winter comes? My first thought would be White Christmas. But at this point, white Xmas seems just so far away with the amount of work that serves as the hurdles we have to get past before that Golden Medal of White X'mas can be ours. Winter just marks the end of another year, a time to do another reflection of a zillion things we have done in yet another 365 days. I have done a lot of wrongs, I wasted my time and wonderful things did happen too. It is always a cycle each year that just going to be another memory etched in our minds at the end of the day. At the final run, we'd look back and asked ourselves: is there any regret? A cup of coffee has always been a good companion to do some reflection, to take a break from the hustling buzzing busy-ness of school life. This morning I bought another cup of Hazelnut latte from what...
