WHAT DO YOU DO ON WEEKENDS?

"What do you do on weekends?"

This is the most common question I get from people I rarely meet or people  I have not seen in the longest possible time.
This, is also the question I never ask people (why should I know? Is this even a good ice breaker?)

There is one thing about this question.
I thing they are never asked just because people want to have a conversation opener.
There is a real curiosity in this question and I have proven it from a friend of mine who said her life is "mundane" and "boring" and she wants to know what do people do on weekends?
Is she the only one drama-bingeing at home?
Is she missing out on things in life?
Are people hanging out without her? If yes, why?

A part of this question contains your insecurity.
I don't understand though, do you have a solid plan every weekend?
I mean, not trying to be aloof or anything, honestly though, do you?
Because weekends are supposed to be a break from your routines and I don't see why I need to have a "usual" for my weekends.
I travel, I sleep in, I meet people whom I have not met in ages, I meet usual friends, I hang out with my family, I work (on some occasions where I am forced to, ugh), I drama-binge, I learn something new like new cooking recipes, I hit the gym, I go shopping, and the list goes on and on.
Is there a "usual" in this? No.
Is that extraordinary? No.

I get it that to some this age is the transition age. People seem to be doing so well on social media and you sleep in on Sundays with some take-out food.
But the truth is, life is not that beautiful canvas people portray.
And it's okay, if sleeping in is what you need, so be it.
Some of your friends are probably happily married or sadly married,
Some are single and filling their weekends like I do with whatever I had to do on weekends.
And that's okay.
You're not missing out, you're just giving yourself a break before the week starts over.
And it varies from people to people.

In conclusion though,
What good answer should I give these people?

DJAKARTA WAREHOUSE PROJECT 2016

Garuda Stage (Main) Djakarta Warehouse Project 2016 Since it's a lazy midweek and the rain isn't helping me being productive,  let's do a short recap on last week's Asia's major EDM Event: Ismaya Live's DWP. This event is held every year, bringing in top international artists such as Martin Garrix, Alan Walker, DJ Snake and on and on and on.  The Lineup change every year, of course.  This year is my first DWP since I have only been back to Indo for over a year now. A few friends decided to go and they went before so I was like, why not?  DWP sounds like a good idea to spend the long weekend with friends  and let loose!  The stress from adulthood is really building up recently ;( So as someone who has never been to DWP before,  I was honestly pretty worried with the security at first. A Cup of Coffee

It is finally winter. The chill from winter wind is unbearable, hands are getting frozen and skin got too dry. Winter. What do you think of when Winter comes? My first thought would be White Christmas. But at this point, white Xmas seems just so far away with the amount of work that serves as the hurdles we have to get past before that Golden Medal of White X'mas can be ours. Winter just marks the end of another year, a time to do another reflection of a zillion things we have done in yet another 365 days. I have done a lot of wrongs, I wasted my time and wonderful things did happen too. It is always a cycle each year that just going to be another memory etched in our minds at the end of the day.
